Simco was established in 1996 in Barnes, South-West London as an independent advisory company offering technical and portfolio services to the upstream oil and gas industry. The company has a strong reputation for representing client oil and gas companies in asset transactions, both in a vendor and purchaser capacity, managing Farm-outs, Farm-ins and full asset disposals.

Simco also provides support services for the management of oil & gas licences and assists clients in the formulation and execution of their business strategies to establish and grow their licence portfolios. Simco provides independent business evaluations and valuation reports including Competent Persons Reports (CPR) for the requirements of the investment community.

Kapo Simonian has worked for more than 35 years in the oil industry. In the past 10 years Kapo has been involved in advising on the establishment of several exploration oil company start ups, which have subsequently been sold to trade buyers, been listed on stock exchanges or have farmed out their exploration work commitments and are now carried.

MA graduate, Ellie Bell, has been with Simco since 2008. Ellie works across all of Simco’s campaigns and is the front line in Simco’s sales and marketing, assisting companies in their farm ins, farm outs, mergers and acquisitions.

Hovnan Hampartsoumian
Company Secretary

Hovnan is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and until recently he was a partner in a top 20 Chartered Accountancy firm when in June 2011 he retired and set up his own practice. He comes with a sound financial background. Hovnan has experience in a wide range of commercial enterprises including Oil and Gas exploration.
