EQUATORIAL GUINEA	2010. Simco is advising Atlas Petroleum Ltd in reviewing its strategic options with regards to its 27.5% interest in Block I, where the 120mmbo Aseng oil field is being developed.

CYPRUS	2010. Simco is advising Cypriot oil company EastMed Energy Ventures Ltd on exploration opportunities in the Eastern Mediterranean including Cyprus, as well as assisting in forming license bidding groups.	More Information (0.9Mb)

INDONESIA	Duyung: 2011. Simco has been retained by West Natuna Exploration Ltd to promote the farmout of their Duyung PSC, in the prolific West Natuna Basin, offshore Indonesia. The project represents a low cost opportunity to participate in the 3D definition and the drilling of attractive oil prospects and to further evaluate an established major gas accumulation in a proven petroleum basin, close to infrastructure. Attractive farmout terms (May 2011) are based on the phased acquisition of interests minimising risk and cost to the farminee. Offer closes 31 August 2011. AFRICA	Since 2010 Simco has been providing management and technical support services to Crown Energy Ventures Corp, a well financed start-up privately owned oil company. Crown is acquiring a portfolio of African exploration and production licenses.

SOUTH AFRICA	September 2010. Simco is pleased to advise that New African Global Energy SA (Pty) Ltd ("NewAge") is seeking partners to contunue exploration of their highly attractive exploration acreage in the Algoa and Gamtoos Basins, offshore South Africa. NIGERIA	2009. Oranto Petroleum, as administrative Operator of OPL 320, is seeking a technical partner to continue exploration and appraisal of deepwater block OPL 320. A 3D survey was acquired in 2005 and a discovery well was drilled two years later.	More Information (1.75Mb)

SOUTH AFRICA	Since 2009, Simco has been providing certain technical and management services to Thombo Petroleum Ltd who are operating with a 75% interest in the 5,000 sq.km offshore Block 2B. A 3D program is planned for early 2012.	More Information (1.50Mb)

NIGERIA	Oranto Petroleum was awarded OPL 293 in the Nigerian 2007 Licensing Round. Simco have concluded a technical review of the license area, and in early 2008 were mandated to seek farm in partners to join Oranto Petroleum in signing of a PSC.	More Information (6Mb)

NIGERIA	2010 exploration farm in opportunity. OML 109. Pending completion of studies following the drilling of the 4th quarter 2009 West Awodi 1 exploration well Simco, on behalf of the owners of OML 109 Atlas Petroleum and SOGW, is receiving approaches from companies wishing to join in the further exploration of this so-called "JED" part of OML 109( excludes the Ejubele Oilfield area). EQUATORIAL GUINEA	2010, client Atlas Petroleum has completed 800 sq km 3-D seismic in Block J. Atlas has completed the interpretation of the 3-D seismic and has undertaken detailed AVO analysis. Atlas is seeking farm in partners to participate in the drilling of an exploration well, a dataroom is available at Simco. The PSC has recently been extended to December 2013 and new seismic inversion studies have been commissioned to better define drilling targets.	View Brochure (2.86MB)

IVORY COAST	2009, Block CI-206 is being offered for farm out for the drilling phase by Oranto Petroleum. The existing 2004 3-D survey is recently been re-evaluated and detail AVO analysis has been undertaken. Data room is available at Simco. WEST AFRICA	Since 1999, Simco has provided advisory and support services to a private oil company, Atlas Petroleum and it's sister company Oranto Petroleum, in developing its business generally and managing its four exploration licenses in offshore Equatorial Guinea. Simco is also involved in the management of Oranto's licenses in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Ghana. Simco acts as Atlas and Oranto Petroleum's London representative office.
